W: Two Worlds

A thrilling drama centred around two characters torn between dimensions. Oh Yeon-joo (Han Hyo-joo) enters the fantasy world of W where she meets the main character, Kang Chul (Lee Jong-suk), and the action begins.

The webtoon, W, created by Oh Seong-mo (Kim Eui-sung) is a best-seller in Korea.  Based around the main character, Olympic Shooter Kang Chul, who comes home after training to discover that his whole family has been killed. Kang Chul is falsely accused of the crime, but is found to be innocent and is released.  

In an attempt to find out who really murdered his family, he starts Project W – dedicated to asking the ‘who’ and ‘what’ questions behind every crime.  One night he is mysteriously attacked on the rooftop of his penthouse by the murderer.  As he is lying injured on the rooftop, in a parallel time cardiothoracic surgeon Oh Yeon-yoo visits her father (Oh Seong-mo) and happens to look at the tablet when she is dragged into an alternate universe – that of the webtoon, W.
