The Heirs

The Heirs follows a group of super-wealthy elite students as they test the bounds of friendship, loyalty, love while balancing the weight of family responsibility.

The drama starts with a chance encounter between Cha Eun-sang (Park Shin-hye) and Kim Tan (Lee Min-ho) in America, after Eun-sang is left destitute when her sister abandons her.  Kim Tan comes to the rescue and takes her in until she returns home.

When she arrives home she moves into the house where her mother is the live-in housekeeper and changes schools to be closer to home – the only catch is that it is Kim Tan’s house and he attends the same school.

Faced with being ostracised due to her lack of social standing and wealth, Kim Tan develops a cover story for her and everything is going well until the secret is discovered by Kim Tan’s former best friend, Choi Young-do (Kim Woo-bin).
