My Mister (My Ahjussi)

My Mister is an absolute masterpiece, delivering an exquisite experience that showcases life in all of its glory.

To an outsider, Park Dong-hoon has the seemingly perfect life, complete with the perfect wife, child and career, but in reality he is just going through the motions.  In stark contrast, there is Lee Ji-han (Lee Ji-eun) who lives in a perpetual state of fear and uncertainty.  The hardships she has to endure seem insurmountable – from threatening loan sharks (Jang Ki-yong) to an ailing grandmother and spiralling debt.

Although from different worlds, the pair form an unlikely relationship and bond, one that transcends friendship and desire.

Dong-hoon has a strong and enduring bond with his two brothers – Park Sang-hoon (Park Ho-san) and Park Ki-hoon (Song Sae-byeok), that is beautifully portrayed on-screen, delivered through absolute mastery with the dialogue, settings and cinematography and performances from the actors themselves.

My Mister checks all the boxes, delivering an absolutely outstanding drama that is worthy of all its accolades.
